WesCup® was featured on CBS 8’s Zevely Zone, sharing the story behind the world’s first patented three-compartment drinking cup.
The feature goes back to the early days of WesCup, when founder Wes Renda was a student at San Diego Mesa College turning an idea he had years earlier into a real product.
CBS 8’s Jeff Zevely put WesCup to the test with students on campus, filling each compartment with a different drink and showing how one cup could hold three drinks at once. The story also shared how the original idea eventually became a patented product and a growing San Diego brand.
What started as an idea was becoming real — and CBS 8 was there early in the journey.
